Self Scientific began to buzz on the underground hip hop scene in Los Angeles in 1996 after release a string of independent singles. Theri first full-length LP in 2001 THE SELF SCIENCE, was hearalded as a West Coast hip hop classic. The follow-up release, GODS & GANGSTAS is mixtape style project that contains all original material and includes drops from well-known community activists such as Fred Hapton Jr., and Tarik Ross and guest appearances from Planet Asia, StrongArm Steady, Drondon, Phil Tha Agony and more!
